By removing the expense and the sacrifice, we are giving communities a whole new way to get started on the path to green.
Check the paper. Watch the news. Green is the place you want your community to be, whether your community is a town, an organization, a business or a condo association. Green is how communities are attracting the most desirable new residents, new customers, new associations. It's a real difference-maker, a sign that people are looking for.
A Community Green Challenge is the easiest way to take your first step...or even your second or third...towards a commitment to green. With no expense and minimal effort you have a program in place which involves ALL of your community. There is no need for discussion or debate: people can join for whatever reason they want. If they're committed to green, great. If they just want to save money, also great. Everyone who gets involved moves the program forward.
Promotion is easy, because you are aiming for a concrete goal, whether it's a solar panel or a charging station. Because the format of the Challenge is similar to a game, you have multiple opportunities to re-promote whenever you feel like announcing your updated point totals, or when a significant new member signs on, or when a new offer becomes available to Challenge members. And, of course, there's the moment when you hit your target and the moment when your green reward is installed.
After that, you can start all over again.
You give us the channel, we'll give you the materials. Each community has it's own way of getting the word out, and Eco-Vision will provide you with the materials to match the way you communicate. You can also build your online community at your Challenge home page in the Eco-Vision website, where members can come to track your progress and interact with each other.
